Hey everybody,
Fuzz got an email confirming that Ryan Nyquist and Dave Mirra will both be here for the Layton BMX Jam on April 23rd. Should be a great show with both of these guys as well as the other local pro's coming out.
Also Wheel City and Jay's ACCC will be giving away a set of tires and wheels ($400.00 worth of wheels and $400.00 worth in tires) to one lucky person.
For more info visit 5050bmx.com
Thanks, Mike :D

Well, Mirra and Nyquist didnt make it out but that didnt matter as the the Layton Massacre was OFF THE CHAIN!!! Some great riding from am's and pro's. It was great to see some of my old buddies I havent seen in years like Mike Poulson (arguably the greatest BMXer to come out of Utah). Mike Aitken killed it with some unbelievable air and unreal lines. Other great performances were witnessed from Matt Beringer, TJ Stultz, Cameron Woods, Rob Wise, Josh Hult, Jayson Johnson, Shawn "Elf" Walters and host Tim "FUZZY" Hall. I had a great time hanging with old buddies Fuzz and Eddie who co-own the new 50/50 store in Layton. It was also great to see their lovely wives Terri and Lori.

I got a pleasant surprise when Fuzz handed me the microphone and asked me to announce the Pro final with Eddie! Talk about being pumped! What was even cooler was when Mike Aitken was dropping in for a warm up run and I was talking him up on the mic' and he started to laugh. He immediately rolled back out and came up and said, "I had a flash-back of racing at the old Ogden track of carving a turn and you announcing! That was so cool! It is great to have you out here!" That totally made my day, maybe my month!

I appreciate the fact that BMX can bring together such talent to put on a show for the public to witness while assemblying great friends who all share the love of riding bikes.

Thanks Fuzz and Eddie for a great event! Support 50/50 Bike&Skate Co. y'all!!!
