Giddy as a kid on Christmas morn!

Yipee! I love it when things work out. I have been dreaming of picking up a bike that felt right underneath me. I thought 20" was the way to go because my Redline Cruiser felt too front-end heavy.

Then I threw a leg over this killer Staats cruiser. Wow! What a difference! I could loft the front end like no tomorrow and the bike felt perfect! Well, the owner of this bike was ogling over the GT Ruckus I won in Del Mar. This unamed person just picked up a new sponsor and he was not going to be riding the Staats for long.

The more we looked at each others bikes, the more we drooled. The more we drooled, the more we realized we were going to have to do something. Something fast and in the moment. Something impetuous and risky. BAM! I now have the Staats cruiser and he now has this killer jumping/MTB bike. I think I am going to take off early today and go ride.

I think he is pretty giddy right now too

Congrats. I had the same experience when I took my first lap on my Staats cruiser instead of my old K2. I guess that means you're going to have to race more often eh. Hope to see you in RS.

Hello!

Unnamed person here! I've been huckin' the GT Ruckus all day! I can't get enough air time! Too bad it's peak hours!

Sorry Curtis- You know I got the better end of the deal! ;)

See you all at the track, if I can get away from the trails!

You'll never know- til later that is

Dirt Hucker!

Dave: Thanks for the congrats because I am diggin' the bike. I guess I just never knew what a difference it would make. I have actually been training this year and I was convinced that the cruiser class was not for me. Now I know different and I hope to be racing more.

Unamed rider: Nope - I think we broke even. We both got what we needed/wanted. The best deals are always a win-win situation.

See you guys in RS!

now isn't this interesting! I just happen to have purchased a new Staats frame today also.....and it's to replace my Redline....I haven't gotten it all together yet (no wise cracks from the cheap seats), so I don't know how it rides, but just the feel of it in my hands ....mmmm, mmmmmm, mmmmmmm

I am looking forward to this weekend to try it out.

Congrats to you as well Greg. Timing is interesting. I decided last night to purchase a Staats 20" to replace my FMF, so I guess congrats to me too.

Ok, when I just re-read this thread, his what I saw:

"Blah, Blah Blah... new Staats... blah, blah, blah... new Staats.. blah blah... new Staats."

Looks like the Carson Spencer college fund has just switched from SLCC to the U :)

Staats is cool
