Some Good and Bad News

Postby J Gallo » Sat Apr 09, 2005 9:09 am

As some may already be aware, I've received a promotion at work that will involve an entire new set of duties, and a somewhat different work schedule. This new position will be both good and bad concerning my involvement in Utah BMX (both the site and racing).

The Good:

No more saturday's in the warehouse! :) Though I will inevitably still "work" on saturdays, it will either be from home or a remote location. This could possibly translate into the ability to travel to more BMX races, both in state and out! Sweet!

And the BAD :(

Travel. From 1 to 2 weeks per month, I will be out of town during the week. Usually to CA. This unfortunately will hinder my ability to update the site as much as I do now. It will also keep me away from the tracks so I may not be able to stay up on events as I normally do, or take as many pictures as I did last year. In fact, I won't even be able to attend RAD's first week of practices since I'll be in CA April 18-22nd :(

So, where does that leave this site?

I'll still be around to run it, so it's not going anywhere. BUT, I really need everyone's help to keep me informed of the events surrounding Utah BMX. Please keep emailing me about events and news that happens at all of our tracks. I will be able to update the site, even if I'm out of town.
