Congratulations Dave, I'm sure you earned every one of them.
On another note, I just got 5 wins closer to turning Expert myself. Not that I expect that milestone to jump out at me any time soon, but hopefully I'll be able to put in a bit more training and bike time so I can make it eventually.

Took long enough!
Thanks to Justin for the motivation!
Thanks to Greg, Mark and the rest of the 41 & Over COGs for pushing me to improve!
The last moto of the night should be even more interesting now...

Great job Dave. Very happy for you.
Its not an easy accomplishment. If I ever get back to the track I will be changing my priority from trying to competing to just riding and enjoying every jump and roller out there. My goal in the future is to become a moto filler so that I can just be out there and ride. It will probable only be half speed but it will be safer.
Grats again.

Jake, maybe you should try going the route of concentrating on your bike skills more than you do on your gym training. The more time you spend on the bike and on the track the easier that half speed, or even full speed will be. Unfortunately if you push the strength training and cardio without also pushing the bike skills to keep up, the results usually aren't what you were hoping for.
It was great to spend some bike/track time with you at Legacy and I hope you heal up quick so we can do it again soon.
