So, a little background.

We have been working on the track and operating while we are waiting for the Town of Virgin to approve the lease between us and the town. Last month I met with the town council and they approved for us to do what we needed to do to operate the track, and set us up on the agenda for this months meeting. I had that meeting with the town council today, and they had some very valid concerns with finalizing us being able to manage/operate the track. They have decided that they want to put it to public hearing to get feedback from others. I do not know the date yet, but when I find out when it will be, I need anyone that is willing and able to come to the meeting, to show up and give your input. If you are not able to come to the meeting if you could email me a statement or something that I can give to the town council to help us it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Here's a thought.
Red Bull Rampage is coming up. Oct 5-7 in Virgin. Don't know if there are plans to do a race that weekend, but I would expect a big turnout if there was on the same weekend. I would certainly come down to watch Red Bull and race bmx. Red Bull might be interested in sponsoring the race to help build some buzz for the rampage.

In any case, I'm looking forward to some road trips down to Zion. Thanks for working hard to get racing going again!

I had some communication with Dianne at Zion BMX. They are planning a race for the rampage weekend and hopefully will do something jointly with Red Bull. My self and a group of other bmx'ers have already reserved our campsite for the weekend. I can't wait!
