Does Provo need a new track?, sure seems like that to me.

The 3 other tracks are getting the ball rolling already with new track designs, early springtime starts & an early May national. Meanwhile, Battlebay is dieing a slow & painful death. 4 years ago they used to pull between 20-30 motos, this was right after they went ABA. ALOT of local support & it was well run. Over that last few years the track has lost moto counts & has'nt really turned it up, track wise to keep pace with Ogden & Tooele. I talked to Faz & to the kids credit, did everything in his power to get the track up shipshape last year & was met with no help, no nothing. He has given up out there because of no support.

Provo has always had a strong BMX scene when the local track is run right & is cutting edge. Provo had a great track in the early-mid 80s & this seems as good as time as ever to look for another location & new blood.
If anybody is reading this from the Utah county area & wants to talk about ideas in getting something new started down there, post up here & lets discuss it!
