Great to hear that you have an indoor going on. Especially during the down time after the Rad Canyon Indoor season wraps up.

Question... Is it quicker to go through Scipio on Hwy 50 or turn off at Nephi on Hwy 28?

Let me know if you guys need any help with the track build or have any questions with setting up an indoor. I may know a thing or two to help out.

Google Maps says go through Levan (south of Nephi) through Gunnison on to Salina... is fastest, with Scipio about 15 minutes more.. and through Spanish Fork canyon (hwy 6 to 89) about another 15 minutes. funny, it doesn't even recommend nephi through ftn green to moroni, to ephraim/manti to gunnison to salina. but that's also listed as about 2:45.

I'm excited, this isn't far from where I grew up... wait, i didn't grow up... this is close to my hometown of Ephraim!

I was checking Google Maps too and it gave me those alternate routes. I was looking for some feedback from someone who has driven the route a few times and what has worked out best.

My initial thought was that by staying on I-15 longer with a higher speed limit (80 mph on a stretch between Nephi and Scipio) would maybe be of benefit over going down Hwy 28 which is probably a 55 mph hwy with a few small towns to slow down through.

Heck, I might enjoy a rural drive through central Utah but my male-patterned instinct is to drive as fast as possible

Spencdizzle, My ex in laws are from Salina, I have been both ways to Salina/ Richfield and usually go thru Levan, out of Nephi.
Its 6 of one. half dozen of another.
Plus Most people are going 65-70 mph on that road anyway!

It really is about the same either way, but alot less Highway Patorl if you go the Levan way, just sayin.
