Weather.com is calling for 60% chance of showers on Saturday. I'll check back tomorrow to get the full 10-day forecast thru Sunday. Man, I was afraid of this. It's a long trip for a mud race...............hmmmmmmmmmm.

We had a mud race last May in Bakersfield on Friday. It ended up being a little fun--for me--but don't want to do that again if I don't have to. Shannon seems positive about the weather--do you think if enough of us have positive thoughts the rain will stay away?
What day are you leaving, Lee?

I hope so Brent. I'm trying to stay positive but I'm afraid Sunday's forecast will show the same, if not higher. I plan on leaving Thursday night after work. How about you?

Thursday afternoon for us. Hoping I won't need to take extra race clothes and knobbies but probably will.

Phoenix is usually a wet, sometimes muddy race. Been racing since 1995 and can only remember 4 or 5 times it didnt rain at the national in Phoenix.

I just checked and Accuweather is not showing rain for the weekend. I don't recall having a problem with rain at Phoenix in the last 5 years. Maybe I'm not remembering something. Maybe once I recall it being wet around the finish line from rain earlier in the week.

Bruce...that doesn't look fun at all. It reminds me of Bakersfield that same year. Rain both days and my GT Box Series got stolen.
Brent...I'm not too worrid about making a class. If nothing else you, me & Tony will make a total points or do you need 4 to make a class at a national
We should be fine. It will be interesting to watch the forecast all week. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

Lemon's afraid of the rain... but there were a handful of guys saying they'd be there on Vintage. Watching that forecast and will make a last minute call if it looks soggy.

It's on like Donkey Kong....weather.com now shows Saturday as 73/SUNNY/0%
I can see this will be a roller coaster week.
