The Hodge Blows

What is up to homies from RC? For those of yall who don't know me, I am Bob Silverthorne, proud member of Parry Racing and the Rad Canyon family. Long story short, I am fighting Hodgekin's Lymphoma, cancer. That's why you haven't seen my ugly mug at the track lately. Chemo has kept me away from racing, as some of you can relate to. I am fighting a good fight and The Hodge is dying a slow, grueling, severe beat down type death. I go in for my third treatment tomorrow, so if you are the praying type, send a little shout out for me, it would mean more than you know. The game plan now is that in two weeks, I will have my last chemo therapy and then off to radiation, followed by another scan, then good to go into remission. I plan on going to the track this Thursday and support all my fellow bmx cyclists. Be safe and I look forward to seeing you this week! -bs

Bob, Hey great to hear from you, we are praying for you and your family. Since Ron had this, we know what you are going thru.
Stop by the East side bleachers and say hi for sure. We pray for all the best and clean bill of health soon.

Oh, that sucks!

I wish you the best!

You have spent so much time at the track taking care of others who are in pain.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.
