Well we have the track all done and have started getting it packed in!!! It is looking great, riding well and getting packed in. It is gonna be a fast and fun track and littlemore challenging this year!
Thank you to all the volunteers who came out this last weekend to offer their time, and help us get the track finished!

We are going to open the season up with our first official practice this coming Sat April 19 10-3pm!!!!
The best part is that the practice will be free!!!! for this Sat only.
We do ask that you spend some time helping us with some cleanup and finishing on the track.
We need to get some rocks picked up off the grass. Also need to get some garbage picked up! Lastly there are some finishing touches on the track to be done.

So come out and we will get you on the track!!!!

All is weather permitting!

Our schedule for the next couple weeks till the first race is:
Sat April 19 practice 10-3pm
Sat April 26 Practice 11-3pm cost is $3
Sat May 3 Practice 11-3pm Cost is $3
Tues May 6 Practice 6:30pm to 8:30pm cost is $3
Season opening race Thurs May 8 Reg 6-7pm Racing asap! Cost is $10

We are in the need of some help with the following items
Need someone really good with Sprinkler systems to help me get the sprinklers up and running properly. Will need to be able to commit to spending a couple of hours with me on the sprinklers.

Also need someone willing to commit to help in cleaning the Bathrooms each week. We are willing to compensate someone for their time.

Any questions email me or call me

i ate it jumpin the jump into the first corner. it seems like a long drop from the top of the jump to the flat when you hit head first. i went to public school, i probably wouldnt know the number of fingers on a normal day. should probably get a new helmet too. they say after a good hit you should replace it. ive lost count how many times this one has hit the ground

The cement part on the first straight is the same, other than that everything is changed. All three turns are a lot bigger, but in the same place. Overall, it's a lot more technical.

Hello, I just had a quick question. Do I have to have a membership to practice? In my old age, I (I also roped in an old buddy) got a bug to build up a bmx bike and ride again. It has been well over two decades since I was last on a track. Like everyone else says, I started my project for the purpose of practice only but if I don't bust my butt too soon, you never know. I did go straight for the cruiser so I fully expect to be bringing up the rear without complaint. My buddy who also raced remembers some of the people from the past but I can't say the same. I just remember the notables. Thanks for the info and the site (brings back some fond memories).

well, doesnt look like anyone seen your post ckeene, so i'll answer it to the best of my ability.

Yes, you do have to have a membership to practice. But what the heck, huh....it's only $45 for the year, and you'll be racing soon anyway. lol There are such things as a 30 day temp membership too, but it's better to just go for the year membership and enjoy. New racers that have not ever raced ABA can get a one day pass, if you know anyone that wants to give it a try.

Bringing a budy is a great way to start. You two can duel it out on the cruisers and not worry about the guys that have been racing for 20 years. Just measure your progress between the two of you, and it wont take long to get the old skills back and be up in the pack.

So, welcome back to BMX......look forward to seeing ya at the track.
