Well it sounds like we missed a great race weekend......... and its not fun to miss it the way I did Lol

Tiff and I wanted to say thanks to alot of people and this is the easiest way to do it.
My butt is ok, just sore from looping out..... my hand is another story, I have 2 breaks in my hand
. There is an evulsion fracture on the top of my hand at the base near my wrist and my scaffoid bone is broke. :( They think there might be other beaks but its too swollen to see in the films right now. The original plan was to wait a week and then decide what is happening as far as surgery, however my fingers went numb today so i am headed back to Ortho today to figure out what is the problem now. It sucks typing with only the left hand.....
Anyway
first wanted to say thanks to my Parents for their help and being at the Hospital with Tiff and I
Second thanks for those that helped with Josh and getting my bikes a gear put up after we left..... especially to the Forestas..... they brought us the keys to my trailer and the brought us the trailer when we didnt get back to the track on Sunday!
Thanks to the track staff too, Shepards and Allens and our great EMT lady.... I was a bit out of it but thanks for your help!
also thanks to all the folks who have called or emailed to check on me!!!! You guys are the best.
Again Thanks again to everyone we have the best bmx family on the planet.... I am doped up so if I forgot someone please forgive me.

As a by product of all this, we got to see part of the webcast online on Sunday...... what a kick butt show and a great presentation........... thanks Gallo and all the Utahbmx and Rad Canyon crew!!!! And the proam race was awesome!!!

Get well J melton, and take care of that hand. Did you know hand surgeons are the second highest paid surgeons next to Neurologists? So you know youll be in good hands, oh that was lame.

Anyway take care man and we'll see you this summer.

Jason,
It think I jinxed ya! Not five minutes before you looped out I was saying how that has to be one of the most painful ways of going down. Me and the family was talking about it and.......BAM!......you loop out.

Sorry 'bout that. If there's anything I can do to make it up to ya, let me know.

PM me a realistic, working mans BMX workout routine. I'm tired of getting out snapped & out pulled by my comp!

Give me Bruce's working man routine, plus an exercise. I'm tired of trying to remember what it was like when I was getting out snapped and out pulled by the Ritter. ;]

once again thanks for all the calls, emails and well wishes on here.
Here is the update, no surgery for now, in a cool custom splint and lots of therapy. Who knew a hand needed so much therapy, wondering if it had a bad childhood? LOL
Anyway I have 2 broken bones that the doc says should heal. Hoping to be back at it in 6 weeks or so........ just in time for outdoor......wooohoooo!

Jason-
Glad to hear that the hand may heal without surgery. Keep up on the therapy and the recovery time will be quick. I really enjoyed the racing this indoor season and thanx to you and all the other great folks at Rad Canyon for such great track and racing opportunities this winter.

OK, so send me the workout program you've sent to Bruce Ritter. I need to figure out how to out snap him at the gate at least once some day.

You guys have been great competition. It paid off last weekend with my first National win at Kearney in 36&Older nervous class.

See ya on the track in the future.
