Sweet! Thanks again for doing this, Jason! As soon as I get home I'm attacking your server!!! I don't think my blackberry could handle it if I tried it now. :)

Just a reminder on the videos:

For the best playback experience, right click the video link, click "Save Target As....", then save to your computer. Once fully downloaded, click "Open", and the video will play from your local drive, and you won't have to worry about buffering or server speed issues.

Those instructions are for Internet Explorer users, if you're using Firefox (or other alternate browser such as Opera, Navigator, etc), chances are you know how to download a file.

For Firefox, it's "Save Link As..."

Thanks Jason!

Jason - for all you do for the web site and promoting Rad Canyon and BMX thought it, I think this is the most valuable service you have offered. I think it is absolutely amazing how you find the time to keep pushing the envelope and want to express my sincere gratitude for all you do. :D

The videos are valuable because they are truly objective. They have no opinions, only facts. If a riders wants to see how he/she actually did they can go to the video. If they want to see where they can improve - go to the video. It is an awesome resource for rider improvement and my new favorite feature the UtahBMX dot com!

Thanks Gallo!

thanks jason

thanks all! I'm just glad people are getting enjoyment out of them. I'd hate to spend all this time and effort working out the bugs and figuring stuff out, just to have no one really check 'em out.

I will say this new format of recording straight to my hard drive so I can just upload makes this so much easier. I know its hard for some to work with such large files (100mb + for motos and mains), but the "instant gratification" of having the vid's up the same day hopefully outweighs that issue. I know if I had to download from tape, then edit, then upload, it might be weeks before anything was up with my schedule.

As always, I'm open for any comments or suggestions anyone has so keep 'em coming.

There is one thing I'd like to change:

Any got the hook up for scaffolding? I'd love to have a solitary perch for both the webcast and video. The birds eye view would be nice to the ambient noise would be less, and no kids/parents blocking the video/webcast view :)

let's just get some ropes and hang your table from the rafters a la Tommy Lee in his drum kit from the Dr. Feelgood tour!... :D (I can't believe I just told everyone I went to a Mötley Crüe concert)

again, I too Jason, have to express my gratitude and commend you on an excellent job!

Thank you!

If any of you are looking for it, I extract out the 5 & Under Novice races that Lucas is in and the same for the 28+ Novice races that I am in and put them on my web site. These files are smaller than 6 MB, usually, rather than the 150 MB for the whole file that Jason posts. But again, what I have on my site are only the races that have Lucas and/or me.

You guys pull semis for local races? havent seen that here in years..... that an all the time thing, we may have to go visit the fam up there to get in on some decent local racing.... dont want to show up and have it be, "aw man you should have been here last week...."

Schmick, come on up. The racing's great on a pretty normal basis. Semi's have been happenin' for the 5 under and 28+ nervous classes.

We seem to average between 40 and 50 motos for single pointers, but it should be much higher in January for the single/double/triple weekend (Jan 25, 26, and 27).

The Rad Canyon crew always put on a great show, but I'm sure they'll pull out all the stops for the multi-pointers.
