Well, It looks like I'll be out for a few months. I'm sure some of you saw me at the last indoor sporting that pretty little knee brace....torn right ACL and surgery is scheduled for the 22nd. My Doc is telling me July if everything goes as planned. Just in time for Vegas  I'm sorry I'll miss the last indoor race but Brandi and the kids will be there. I'll have to tune in to the web cast.

If any dad's or new riders would like to give it a try, my cruiser is available for loan. I would rather see it be used than sit and get dusty. Email or call me if you would like to use it.

Take care and race hard!

Lee, sorry to hear about your injury. I hope everything goes well and you're back at the track quickly!

Just out of curiosity, how has your leg felt since the accident? I ask because on the 26th of Jan I crashed in our main and my left knee/leg hasn't been the same since. When it's bent or when I'm squatting it wants to give out to a certain degree and sometimes feels unstable. I was just wondering what you have been through? No offense, but I hope we don't share the same injury, it sounds a little scary.... I plan on seeing a doc soon.

Taylor,

I would have it looked at ASAP. It could just need to be scoped and cleaned up. My injury was an ongoing thing. I tore my meniscus (sp?) along with a partial ACL tear back in 2001 playing softball. The doc in South Dakota opted to just scope my knee and not repair my ACL. My current doc says that over the years, I've just been tearing away at my ACL until it finally tore through. I had been having some problems with it for the last month and about 2 weeks ago, I was unloading some groceries and must have twisted it just right beacause it dropped me to one knee. I knew something bad had happened. I hope your injury is not as bad, but if it's giving you problems, I would have it looked at. Good luck!

That sucks Lee, hope you get better soon. I too have been fighting problems, namely my lower back. I really messed it up at the noclips race & have been suffering BAD ever since. I passed on last weeks racing & it is just now feeling better. Work has been an absolute witch. Next weekend at the SCQ I plan on 1 good lap in cruiser..... 1 hard gate to transfer & I can care less what I get in the main unless Ive got someone else who is going to battle for the 41-45 SCP this year. Easy practice & a few 50% effort gates.
You were flying last time I saw you too, hope that you can come back with that speed. Would it help to wear a knee brace? I know Spencer rode with one for a few years back in the mid-late 90's.
