had my ortho appointment today

it don't look good for geddo! i had my ortho appointment and i have what is called a comminuted fracture of the left radius. i'll be having surgery on thursday to have a plate installed and the doc says i'll be out 4-6 months
don't you worry though, i'll still be out in full spirit with my kids. please kick me in the arse if you see me trying to ride a bike too early
still undecided on reno??? have a safe and happy holiday!

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you still got some of those young-kid things in you that take a month off the healing process...

Damn that sucks Lee, sorry to hear that. I go in next Thursday to see what's wrong with my wrist (fractured?) & my knee (sprained something). I raced last indoor & that really set things off & now I'm paying the price for it. I doubt I'll be able to race any of the January races, just knowing my body.

Talked to Lee's wife today. She said Lee is doing well after his surgery, but is hurtin' for certain! Here's hoping the pain goes away QUICK!!!

yeah when the doc says that you will be out for 6-7 months it realy means to me 6-7 minutes so just be a kid againg and ignore what he says and keep kickin ass

Well, I had my Dr's visit today & this is the verdict.............old age.
4-6 weeks rehabbing tendon/lig. damage to my wrist & knee. Great.

I just went to the ortho wednesday and got braces...
They suck, they hurt, but it wont stop me from racing!
