I thought I was being just alittle too harsh esp. after some of the diggers you've took over the past few years. I guess I'm losing my edge in my old age.

I also forgot about Jason Stout, Amy Mah, Dave Beeson & what if Kris Park gets back on a cruiser?

This ought to be fun.

Bruce, it's kind of a stretch to call ME the fastest 40 year old in the state, but thanks anyway. Braahaaahaaa ha

I think it would be pretty cool to see 1/4s in this race.........so I might just have to sign up to help out. I know I wont have a chance in hell of transfering, but it will give me the best seat in the house to watch the race action in the motos (20 ft to the rear).

Being the bmx pimp that I am, I left a message for Halvey (everybody forgot about him, eh?) & just got off the phone with Beau. He's up in the air about coming down but he said Billy (who lurks here) has a cruiser now. I fully expect to see you on the gate Billy! 8)

Halvey's not getting out that easy. If it's an "open" class, can't vet pro's race? Of course, now it's 26+ open/pro am cruiser not no clips Dallas' excuses unallowed open.

My brother wants to race it if anyone has a spare 24.

Yeah, I've got to go by Staats tomorrow & if he's there I'll shame him into racing. Still, now that he's "Pro" he might be too factory to mix it up with lowly AM's. I also passed the word on to Vanderpool to bring a cruiser & he's Vet.
Alvey, how about giving Lodefink a heads up?

For people wanting to race this but don't have a cruiser, you can also race a MTB bike in the cruiser class. I've seen quite a few of those at the races.

Results please....I'm 10 hours ahead of you guys and have not talked to a single person. It's 2200 Saturday night in Utah and this is my prediction (providing they all raced and made the main).

1. TP
2. Brandon Smith
3. Jason Stout
4. Steve Spencer
5. Jason Melton
6. Dallas Edwards
7. Justin Alvey
8. Beau Mahaffey

How close am I?

Here's what i remember.......

1. T.P.
2. Jonas Harmon.

3-8th.........
I know Alvey, Stout, Melton, Kelly, the dude on the white MTB, that's all I can remember. 4 racks of 7, 8-man semis. I got flushed in my semi, baaaad riding. The feedback from this event was awesome & RC should do it one more time indoors.

Harmon was all over T.P. but Todd proved the 40 is just a number! Woohoo!!

6. Mike Kelly
7. Chris Boudreux
8. Ben Craner (Not sure of the order of those last 3)

Melton pulled me for the 3rd place...I high- lowed and pulled up next to him in the last corner- but he had the ponies to push to the line. I got me by a 1/2 wheel.

I had a blast in all 3 rounds of this open! It was great racing everyone!

I want do it again! That was a blast. I am dedicating my time now to prep for MTB season so learning to race with the little bikes, ;-), should make me faster. I will work on my gearing and then learn how to shift a little better. Some fast dudes in that race, TP and Jonas, forget about it! Thanks for setting that up Bruce.
