Riders, Parents and Family's,

Do you or your child have something to brag about? A first win? A recent move up in class? Purchased a new bike? Anything!

Well let me know about it! Send me an email using the Contact Link and we'll get your happy news up on the front page!

Thanks for your continued support!

OK - I have got to finally chime in and THIS is what I am proud of: My son Bennett (5I) placed dead last out of five in the main in 6I and there was not ONE SOLITARY TEAR!!!

This is a first for him as he normally sheds the equivalent of the Nile when no trophy is won. Maybe more when he does not make the main since turning Inter two weeks ago.

In this race though, he knew he did his best and was happy with that. I think he may actually be "getting it". He is finally realizing what racing is all about: i.e: progression is more important than end results.

Now, in his defense I have to say that he raced an incredible second moto. In the first moto he placed 5th out of 6. However, in the second he placed 1st out of 4 due to a great start and using strategy rather than strength to stay on top. This did not work in the main as the top two simply out-rode him.

The point is he was happy and truly had fun. For that alone I am very proud.

Thanks for the kind words, but this site is great because of the Utah BMX riders! It's you that visit, post, and make my pictures look great! I just put it up on the internet, not much talent required there! :)

Plus, we have 2 awesome sites here in Utah. Don't forget about Travis's FlynhighBMX site. He's got all the graphic and webmaster skills, I just play one on TV

Bennett is a great kid. In staging he always knows what gate he has.

It is a rough move from Novice to Inter. I think Bennett is doing wonderfully.

Keep up the good work Bennett and remember to have FUN!!!
