Deseret Peak update: March 12th.

Another long day. Took Bailey & Vince out to help, pulled weeds & have finally got most of them gone, ready to burn next weekend. Filled a ton of potholes too. The new 2nd corner is groomed & ready to be packed in, its very nice. The rythem section was blown out & there is now a matching drop-off leading into the rythem, just like the decision maker. The rythem section is just that, a full straight of rollers. This ought to be fun as Darrin took alot of dirt out of the straight & speed should be plentiful, more so than last year. I know this is nothing fancy but seeing that it's just us, the simpler, the better.

The decision maker is getting a nice facelift as the face of the first jump got alot more dirt as did the landing. The drop off leading into it is also getting more dirt.

Last year the track flowed & was pretty fast all the way around. I can see that it's probebly going to be faster this year.

The rythem section should be done by next Saturday, as should most of the tweaking. If good weather holds, I see no problem DP holding their first race at the beginning of April.

I am sorry to say that Bennett & I were all ready to come out this morning. Unfortunately, we had some stuff pop up (honey-do's) and I didn't wrap up until almost two.

We will be out at Pasco next weekend, but would like to help on the 26th if you guys are still at it.
