Re: 28-35 Class Happenings
thanks for the upload Todd! It's very clear on that video that I slipped a pedal. Time for clips!
Re: 28-35 Class Happenings
Wow, i just watched that video and what a race. If i had raced that main i would gone down for sure, it looked tight and i get pushy.
Re: 28-35 Class Happenings
I was hoping to make the clinic this morning with Gabe, but it's not going to happen. I'd have to leave by 12:30 or so to get back home and get ready for a christmas party. If I lived closer, I'd do it, but Kaysville is too far to drive to be rushed like that. We'll be at the next one though!
Re: 28-35 Class Happenings
Another great night with full gates. Congrats to Jeremy for the win! (number 8 I think). Welcome to Dustin and Jake who raced for the first time with us. Dustin was particularly fast, think he made the podium? Good luck to those racing tomorrow. I'll see you all in January.

Re: 28-35 Class Happenings
I haven't heard anything. I heard the crash from the other side of the berm, but I didn't see what happened. I'm guessing he had a concussion or something like that.
I hope he has a short stay and a speedy recovery.

What?? Somebody fill me in here. I didn't know BJ wrecked. What happened?
Re: 28-35 Class Happenings
I guess a couple of guys got hurt pretty bad in our class yesterday. One new guy during the clinic got knocked out, and later BJ went down during the race. BJ thought he hit something on his chest during the crash, left the race early and took himself to the hospital.

I have not heard BJ's status. He went down after the guy in front (new guy dont know his name) of him wreaked and his bike hit BJ in the stomach. He just had surgery a few weeks ago so he was already hurting. Jared and I helped him with his stuff and walk him out last night, he looked like he was in pretty bad shape. Hope he is ok.
About today's race's everyone raced really strong, but i lost my energy in the main and did not finish well... That clinic yesterday just wore me out. But i am looking to come back good and strong next year after some bike adjustments, and some good old intense training. See you all next year. Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and see you all at the next race.

Which guy is BJ? What does he ride? who was the guy who was carried out of the clinic on a backboard into the ambulance?
Re: 28-35 Class Happenings
Steve, BJ is the guy who is usually announcing. I'm not positive , but I believe the last I saw him, he was on a polished GT cruiser.
Get yourself better BJ. We'll see you soon.

BJ was riding a white bike, he is a new rider in the 28-35 Nov class. He has only been out a few times, and is a cancer survivor. He was wearing all black, a black and white helmet.

Yeah, that's BJ Harmon, great guy. I'm pretty sure he didn't crash, I think it was a different BJ.
