I think only 2 exist: Jonas Harmon and Kris Park. They end up beating up on 36-40 ex.

Re: 28-35 Novice Class Happenings
haha well this is nice to have your own thread haha
BJ , better bring your A game :0 steve youll be a inter well before you know it , trust me by summer youll be in our gate , your looking good.
far as old guy baggerville, heres my take, when you can jump the dubs on second straight out door and manaul the rythms at top speed, your ready to maybe race chris and jonas ....till then, youll just be the caboose in a ex pro train.
Personally i was all about turning ex early, but you knwo what ....im sure non of the experts on here did that, so when all of us get our 25 wins, rodger is close im on my way coon and bj for sure wont be far behind, well have a bigger 28-35 ex class, till then well stay in the " race for fun zone" after all thats what were all out here for right!
i love that we have such a good fun group of guys in all the 28-35's nov inter and ex and im stoked to be in the gate with all of you !

Re: 28-35 Novice Class Happenings
I need some clinic info.
I attended the last COG clinic, love it! I want my 7 novice to attend this week, but don't know if I should pony up the $$ for both of us to attend. Do most parents register and participate, or can we not pay and stand out there and help?? Are we allowed to listen in and absorb the instruction so we can help focus 1 on 1 with our kid?
I'd hate to step on any toes, so any input is welcome here.
Todd

todd ,. youll want to address heather elliot directly on this one, however i can tell you nothing will make you faster quicker , pardon the probably incorrect english there, than going to these clinics they are for sure worth every penny.
as a novice you learn to ride your bike
as an inter you learn how to race
as much time on your bike right now as possible with correct instruction will make you progress better than anything.
just my two cents. sometimes i still do the clinics and just dont race sat so i have time on my bike to progress my skill and i tell you everytime i do or help teach a clinic i relearn the basics and it makes me faster again. after all pro basketball players dont rely on playing games to get better at free throws, they learn the basics during practice !

Re: 28-35 Novice Class Happenings
I've attended 3 clinics now, and they have helped A TON. I'm still not fast, but I'm faster than I used to be. It all comes down to time on the track and correcting my errors before they become habbits.
It's a win/lose for me when I do clinics. I love the increased time on my bike, the detailed practice with 1-1 feedback, and a chance to get to know the track well before the races. But I don't have the stamina I wish I did. I'm so tired by the end of the clinic that I don't have much oomph left for the race. I can't decide if I'm going to do the clinic this week or not.
