Postby mhp800 » Mon Feb 22, 2010 8:25 pm

Okay guys and gals the NBL will let you race one race free if you have never been a member .

So with that said how about a party at Virgin bmx on 4-3-10 ?

We should have good weather in April .

This is a very fun track and some of the best scenery you will find at a bmx track . Check out this link to see how beautiful this track is http://www.virginbmxtrack.com/plugins/a ... 1&bgStyle=

Lets here it is this good or some other time ?

So it would probably be best to spend friday night down there. Hotel, camping, or Mesquite? Hmmm....

I race cruiser and I am 37. Would I have a class? I've never raced NBL before. I have two boys who race as well, 7 and 10 novice. Is that the same class in the nbl?

There's plenty of time til then to get prepared. I will see what the wife thinks.

Bartons and Clifts did a little trip down there last spring. The track is great! I'd like to do it again, but while I know the track is under some new direction (Hi Darin and Danny), I think we may need to "take our classes with us"... Last year my 5 Inter raced 2 10x even though there were 2 5 "novices" there... weird.

Bill, can I have another freebie if it's been over a year? You said "yes" once before, right?

This may not be a factor to some, unless you are a points whore like me, but 4-3-10 is the Redline Cup Qualifier @ Ed Fountain BMX in Las Vegas, NV. Maybe a race that is not on a triple points weekend so near to home? I know if I went as far as St George to race, I may as well hit a race that counts towards my ABA points. Just sayin'..........

You know how I think. I know there may be some who are looking to better thier standing in the qualifier, so come October they can be in contention for the "Cup". I'm in, just on a different date. :D

On that weekend with the triple in Vegas at Ed Fountain, I think the Boulder City track (where the RLC finals are) has a double point/ single point for 600 points total

A few of us have been talking about the Virgin trip and it has brought about a few concerns. We want to support their program by bringing down a good showing of SLC racers but dont want to overwhelm them. They are use to their 4 -6 moto events and if we get a big group together it would easily triple or quadruple their rider count thus possibly putting them in a position to no being a prepared. It may be best to have more of a trickle affect and have area racers go down when they can and show a steady stream of support. This way they arent pressured to put on one big event, adjust to a growth with smaller groups of new riders and still experience the type of support we can provide.

As for a Vegas trip... ITS ON! Great people down in Sin City, two tracks, multi points, tons of extra curricular options for all family members, ample lodging, consistently decent weather, good concerts (Chicago, Alkaline Trio & more) and my favorite place... Fat Tuesdays :D

I have some buddies with some connections at area hotels so I can see about getting a discounted room rate for our group.

Lets just not create a sequel to "The Hangover"

VEGAS BABY!

SWWEEEEEETT! Sounds like a plan Mr. K! The problem I am facing is that my travel season is starting to ramp up and my weekends are getting all booked up. You guys may have to just plan one and if I can swing it I will drop in.
