Iv'e been following this thread on Vintage & this mini JMC this dudes Dad built up. Back in 1985 light weight mini stuff just wasn't around so some Dads took it upon themselves to lighten up their kids bikes. This is taking that way beyond just "tricking it out". Maybe the baddest bike I have ever, EVER seen in my life. Read the whole thread.

Pretty cool to see someone thinking way out of the box back in 1985. Makes me wonder who's was lighter back then, his or Will Scurto's drilled out JMC?

Seeing it makes me want to trim down Carson's little 9lb race bike he started on. Maybe I will make a project of it to get it in the sub-8lb range for when Birkli makes her debut when she turns 3 :wink:

ask kp to show you the pics of the i think its ti or magnisieum(spelling) when he raced for the firm. yes kp was on the firm.
i think bob got it down like carsons in the 9 or less. total trick. he was the only one at the time to have that bike.
