Multiple opinions requested.
Since I have not been racing a long time I have not raced in state championship qualifying race. The ABA rulebook says you don't have to qualify to race in the championship races only to be eligible to win a championship title.
My question is this. I would like to race in the state champ races on the 11th and 12th but I am not sure if it is one of those race etiquette no no's since I didn't race in a qualifying race. I do not want to screw up the natural order of things or make everyone mad by racing. So I am soliciting some opinions, the more the better.
Thanks
Todd

Re: questions about the State Championship race
Todd,
The only race etiquette is to not bee sitting on the sidelines. LOL
We ususally get lots of people from out of state that change the local results. And that is the way it is. So come on out and race. Enjoy a great weekend of Utah's best racers.

Re: questions about the State Championship race
You should definitely race, the saturday race is one of the better races of the year. You won't really change the results up much anyway. If two riders are in contention for state and they take 2nd/ 3rd instead of 1st/ 2nd because you race an win, it won't change the results up anyway.
