Important Message about 09 numbers and races for 23-25 Jan

Ok so we have the word that 09 numbers willbe finalized either the 22 or the 23 of Jan. Now since it looking like it will be at the last minute for our races that weekend, Ron the track TO has decided we will still run all 08 numbers for the weekend racing on the 23-25 of Jan. Before everyone groans, we know alot of you are excited to put on the new #'s, but with the #'s not being available till right before races, and concerns about not having enough # plates in stock at the track, and all the new riders, we felt it would be best to wait till the first weekend in Feb to run the new #'s. Plus we all know how much confusion this # change creates on Fri night.

So 08 #'s will be run 23-25 Jan and you can get your pretty new #'s and plates ready for the weekend of 6-8 Feb

The release of the new numbers and the new software release is a hectic time every year. We know that everyone is chomping at the bit but two weeks is not very long to wait to run your new digits

Just to clarify, I have never known Performance Bike Parts not to be prepared with new number plates and numbers. They will be stocked up this weekend so I would highly recommend that everyone stop by PBP and grab their favorite number plate this weekend to be prepared for the next race in two weeks. You can get your plate all stickered up and ready to put your new number on it when it is finalized by the ABA and you will be ready to rock for the February 6, 7 & 8 weekend.

Hey guys, I'm new and I signed up for my ABA membership at the race in the beginning of December. Am i going to be getting a new number or will mine be the same? I'm signed up under Cruiser if that makes a difference.

You will have a NEW 2009 district number if you earned a single point in 2008. If you raced...you did. Hope this helps.
