I've started working on the points tracking program, and I'm gonna need a few "beta-testers" to assist in testing and provide feedback. Testing the program will only take a few minutes, but feedback on it's use and features is important and necessary.

You don't have to be in front of a computer 24/7 to help, but you should be able to respond timely to PM's, emails, etc.

If you're interested, please post to this thread or use the CONTACT LINK.

As soon as I get around 3-5 people, we'll get started!

Do you think people will use it? Most probably already use their own way of tracking points. not trying to be mean, just wondering.

Thanks Curtis, I'll send you an email in the next day or two :)

Guest,

To be honest, I was going to do a points tracking system just for myself, but a couple other people had expressed interest in using it also. It won't be the most perfect thing in the world, but it should cover the basics, and will always be a "work in progress" so to speak.

The goal of my points tracker is to not only keep track of each race and keep a running total, but also down the road to provide "rider stats" about performance. I haven't completely determined the specifics of what stats, but I welcome any suggestions that anyone might have concerning this or any topic.

Thanks for the input!!

Jason,

Keep up the good work. Build it, they will use it. I will if I ever get to race again.

You're AWESOME!

I'd love to do it for my son Jacob's points.

Hey- to this ''Guest' I can see you're a little confused aboutthe point tracker. Let me explain.

The ABA does track points for you and it gets posted in two places- the BMXr magazine and on www.ababmx.com. BUT- the points get updated about once a month- so people could b e farther ahead or behind in state than they think. With the points tracker people can add the points in as the races go and keep an updated list of pionts for their own records.

If you don't get it still=let me know!
Dani
