Directions to Battle Bay (Lindon) and Deseret Peak (Tooele)

Postby J Gallo » Wed Jul 14, 2004 7:24 pm

I've had a couple emails for directions to Battle Bay BMX track in Lindon and Deseret Peak BMX in Tooele, so I figured it would be easier to post them here in the forum.

Battle Bay BMX in Lindon:

This track is located next to the Lindon Boat Harbor. From I-15, get off at Exit 276. Head west toward Geneva Steel, and turn right (north) on Geneva Rd. You'll go under the freeway, then at 200 So. and turn left (west). This will take you up and over the freeway, keep heading west until you get to the stop sign, which I believe is 2000 West. Turn Left (south) and drive a couple blocks, there will be a Coaters sign on the left, turn RIGHT at that street, go over the railroad tracks and you'll come to the entrace to the boat harbor. The track is located on the right side.

Deseret Peak BMX in Tooele:

Get off at the Tooele exit from I-80, drive south towards Tooele until you see signs for the Deseret Peak complex. Follow these signs to the complex. Basically you'll take a right at Hwy 133(?), then a left on Sheep Lane. As you enter the complex, there will be a little white guard shack. Go left at the shack, then left again will take you to the track. The BMX track is located on the far west side of the complex (on the opposite side of the baseball fields and pool).
