Fall racing options
Fall racing options
I'm a BMX dad, and want my son to race all he can this fall/winter before we move to an non-sanctioned, no BMX track area in Texas next spring. Now that Ogden Raceway (our usual track) has closed down, what tracks are planning to stay open for a while, and what are the indoor options? Thanks for the help. PS, nice Redline bike for sale soon...

Come race at Rad Canyon on Tuesday and Thursday of this week.
Also, Lindon on Sat. morning.
Check the schedule feature of this website. They have all the information you need to keep you racing several times a week.
Jason G. does a great job keeping the schedule up to date.
See you at the races.

Stout pretty much covered racing this week, but I'll expand on it just a little bit more.
RAD Canyon will race every Tues and Thurs in October unless the snow flies.
I'm pretty sure Battle Bay in Lindon will be racing every Saturday in October unless the snow flies. And don't forget the clinic being put on by our own Utah Girl Pro Arielle Martin this saturday Oct 16th from 11am - 1pm!
So that gives us 3 weeks of good outdoor racing as long as the weather stays warm and sunny. *crosses fingers*
No matter what the weather, RAD Canyon's indoor season will be starting up the weekend of November 19, 20, and 21st.
I'll have a weekly "Quick Race Calendar" on the front page of the website, but you can also check the RACE CALENDAR for more race dates.
Hope this helps!
