Have they ran their 5 races yet? They have to have 5 races for a state qualifier to get counted. I remember going to a state qualifier at the old Manti track when we first started back, and having the points not count since it was the 3rd race they ran that year. I was not aware of that rule... he ...

I called Fred and this race is still a go.... they redesigned the track and really wanted the support of the Northern riders.

hey guys do you have any opinions about neck braces? after seeing some recent crashes and with my son getting fast and crazier on the track I been thinking about the MX style neck braces. are there any reasons not to run one other then maybe they are not very comfortable? thanks for taking the time to post up guys.....getting some cheap ones sounds like a really good idea.... ...I will try that and see what works best for him...then upgrade to something light weight if we like that size.

thanks for the reply.....he already has rhythm wheels and hubs so we are good on that side of it..I was not really wanting the BOB or cranks for speed...just was measuring his inseam and according to the crank chart on JR bikes he should be running 150mm-155mm cranks for his 22" inseam vs his c...

so i'm thinking about going with some longer cranks for my sons bike and have a few questions about cranks and bottom brackets... i'm looking at 150mm expert cranks from rhythm...if we go this route the bike would need the BOB style bottom bracket. this set up from the weights I have gathered would ...

So if a guy wins all his state qualifiers...but changes age groups before state finals does he still get state champ plate for his old age group or does it all get washed away and all they have to show for it is state qual wins and points... I'm reading the ABA rules and it seems that's how it works...
