Re: A must watch video on how to keep alive after a crash.

Thanks for sharing this B. Scary to watch when I think about riding alone (Moto or MTB). I can't believe that he busted his hip up again. Maybe some of the hardware in his hip caused the puncture. Hope Cedric heals up soon!

Jump Bike Sizing

I am thinking about getting ET a little jump bike for Christmas and I am just not sure on sizing. ET is 9 and is about 52" or so. Seems like a 20.5 top tube is the smallest besides getting an 18" bike (seems to small). Could probably get him a little MTB jumper if it would get used more. I...

Redhills SCQ Question

I was checking Ethan's 'State' points on USABMX and noticed that the Redhills SCQ was reported in the race list, but it was not added to the number of SCQ's that he has participated in. Anyone know why?

Re: Small Concern (regarding rules)

Justin, I understand that there are gray areas and if the rider is not close enough. Also, I do not want little guys DQ'd at all. In the specific race(s) I was addressing it is very clear that the rider impeded (I have video), literally moving from one side to the other. Thanks for reply and I reall...

Small Concern (regarding rules)

I am writing this after I had time to think about the concept of FAMILY FUN vs. USABMX RULES and such. I know my little person is really having fun and has enjoyed recent battles with others in his age group. As such, I am very proud of his efforts, period. So, I just wanted to point out that some t...

Re: The other sports activities thread.

I love to try new things (think, shiny) and recently I have been bitten by the kayak bug. I bought a boat and have fallen in love with whitewater. I love the butterflies it brings on. I just need some lessons on rolling and I will be moving up to some bigger rivers. ET and I got a couple of MX bikes...

Re: Check out this link of the new dirt jumps / bike park in

Just got back from riding there with little ET and he wants to know when we are going back. The longest run up there is quite fun, do about 8 of those at full speed and it's quite exhausting. ET rode most of the long track, all except for step up bridge. The smaller line was pretty sweet as well and...

Our new 5 & under Novice!

Aiden Thomas Sams was born Sunday. He weighed in at 9 lbs and 20" long. Mom is healthy and Ethan is one proud big brother. We are looking forward to racing here in Farmington as traveling just got a bit tougher. http://gallery.me.com/tonysams/100222/Aiden%20/web.jpg?ver=13056796590005 Tony

Tour of Utah on Sunday

Hey all-

Anyone want to hook up for Sunday's Stage 5 in Little Cottonwood Canyon? Running with the bikers as they suffer on the final climb of the race sounds like a blast. 8)

Thanks B. for the kind words and the video. Not sure about the training, but I need to give a shout out to that package of ShotBlocks I ate before the race.

Re: Help, building a one man gate?

After some playing around I realized that I bought the wrong magnet. I need at least 300 lbs. to hod the gate. Works good now but need to have it hold if you hit it hard (OTB). I bought a welder a few days ago and have started learning something new. I am going to buy some raw materials next week an...
