First, I hope I did not sound like I was ungrateful, Rad Canyon is a great facility, a lot nicer than most National Mountain Bike Races. Next Saturday would be a great time to bring out your designs. Let the little pokes have a obstacle designing contest and who ever has their design chosen, by a co...

In regards to the 34' table, I will be bringing my CRF out so it should not be a problem. IMHO, the table takes away all the flow of the track. I would imagine, and hope, that the conversion is a work in progress and not a 1970's, "Bring yur' knobbeez boyz!" BMX obstacle. I understand that the first...

Steve- WOW, that is a lot of earth! I am having 3 yds delivered friday to start. The dirt is top soil, screened, and packable. It's $21 a yrd. How does that sound for price? I have a little ebook from LeeLikesBikes.com that discusses the building of pump tracks, so hopefully that will help. That tra...

Jason- When everyone shot film it was an easy decision to spend more on the lens and less on the little black box. Digital, has changed all of that. Now, you need to look at the chip and processor as well as the lens. Resolving power is changed by the way the cmos sensor "interprets" the image from ...

Pump Track
Crazy Question, How much dirt would you need to build a small pump track? My berms will be 14ft. in diameter about 24"-28" in height. I am going to use some of the sod I am cutting up to reinforce the berms. The track will have 4 rollers total, each about 14" in height and 8' long. I guess I am aimi...

Steve- I thought the track was great. I agree with Bruce, all the spinning was great. It should help me lose some weight. Just a quick question. I am playing around with a new 3D program called Modo. I am designing a pump track for my side yard and wanted to see what it would look like before the di...
