Well, we made it. After getting out a little later than expected on Thursday afternoon, we pulled into reno about 8pm local time. The drive seemed to go a little faster than the 7 or so hours it took. We pulled up the Hilton and met Steve Spencer outside to pick up his bikes. We then unloaded our stuff and checked in, and unloaded all our gear and bikes in the room.
We kept it pretty simple thursday night. We went to Asiana so Melton could do his sushi bar. I had the Mongolian Beef, mmmm mmm GOOD! After dinner Melton gambled a little bit while I watched, then back up to the room to install all my software on Melton's laptop so I could update and upload information to the website. I only took a few pics thursday, but that will change today with a TON of pics I plan on taking today.
Well, it's off to breakfast than off to the track for practice and racing later.

Friday night racing went great! Ended up with 105 motos. Here's how our Utah BMX riders ended up:

Reno is finally in the books! Wow that weekend went fast, even the drive to and from wasn't too bad.
Melton and I left right after racing about 3:45 local time, 4:45 Salt Lake time. After a quick stop for food and gas (Kentucky Fried Chicken) we were on the road. We made GREAT time. Even after a 20 minute stop in Elko for Starbuck's Venti Iced Mocha Frappuccinno's, we still made it home by 11:30pm!
Even though I pretty much stunk in racing, I still had a great time. Other than myself, most of our Utah riders made their mains and had a decent showing.
All of the pics from Friday, Saturday and Sunday are now posted in the Reno album. I apologize for the quality of some. Being indoor, my camera didn't want to take the clearest of action shots. Some turned out great, some not so good but you should be able to make out our Utah riders. I'll get most of the pics updated with names and descriptions today and tomorrow.
One notable pic I'll include here. During an intermission, while the pro's were practicing, Travis Postomy and Jake Fitzgibbons did synchronized backflips! It was pretty sweet. I only had a couple seconds to get my camera ready so the picture is not the greatest, but you should be able to tell what's going on.
