After having to pospone our State Qualifier to Wedensday night following the rain on Satuday we were really not too sure about the turn out, but in the end the BMX community here in Utah was great!
After all was said and done we ended up with 113 racers 4 open classes and a total of 30 motos!
The weather was great, not to hot, no wind, no bugs and no rain!
The races were started on time, (I think/hope) and after they were done there was a jumping contest the judges choose Robbie Patterson as the winner. then there was a pit bike race, I missed the end of that and did not find out the winner, so if you know please let me know.
We had a great time and were happy to see lots of new faces as well as some we had not seen in a very long time... thanks to everyone who made it out and made it a very fun evening!
P.S. If anyone got pictures of the event, we would like some, email me!
Deseret Peak State Qualifier
I'm glad everything went off without a hitch!
I was really hoping that I could have been out there to race and take pictures, but I had things to do that prevented me from coming out. I was hoping for a reschedule to Sunday, but oh well
Thanks for posting a report about the event!
And if anyone does have pictures, let me know too, I'll post them on the website!
