Old racer... Class?

Hey guys, just wondering how it works for old/new racers?
I raced expert as a kid, but haven't raced since 1994. Now my 4 year old son is racing, and I'm thinking about trying it again. I know I wouldn't have a chance in the expert class. Is there a rule on that? Would I be able to start intermediate?

Yes, you can start over in intermediate (but not novice)

Not yet. I have a park bike. I'll try that this weekend, then decide how much I'm going to get into this...
