Brennan McIntosh really wanted my 4th place and qualifying spot. We had some elbow loving and both ended up with some elbow skin missing. I'm less bummed about that--fighting hard and going down trying--than blowing a freaking pedal coming out of the gate in my cruiser semi.

Utah had a really great showing! This race is such a great time. The place is huge. The racing is amazing. The friends and competitors you meet are a great...

Great grands weekend for everyone from Utah. Our bmxrs were doing work in the mains from one end (5yr old girl Brooklyn van renselaar) to the other (old guy cruiser mike Kelly). A few stats and observations for those not on the facebook:

I think we ended up with at least 20 NAG PLATES. maybe more

4th in presidents cup. If anyone would have placed one position higher, we would have been second only to California. We were the only "cold weather" state in the top five

5 nag 1 plates. Congrats to Sophia, jack, Jonas, Robby, a d Heather

Sophia foresta wins Utah's first ever national title

Extreme team and gt both in factory top ten

108 national main wins in 2012 for Utah riders including 5 wins at the grands.

The boys and I had a blast watching the live feed and cheering on the Utah BMXers (AND wishing every second that we were there!).

Congratulations to everyone who represented Utah and our amazing BMX scene so well. You made us all very proud. How lucky we are to get to race with you. Thank you.
